 The season’s most covetable separate – the midi skirt! It is undeniable that the midi skirt has taken the fashion world by storm, dominating the catwalks and the high street both for Spring Summer ’18 and Autumn Winter ’18.. The styling possibilities are endless and the midi skirt will see you through the season in impeccably chic style. Here we have explored how best to wear the gorgeous styles we have in Bow & Pearl.

The coolest way to wear the trending style is part of your off-duty rotation. It brings a fresh, cool, luxe spin to downtime and it makes the perfect outfit from Autumnal brunches to city-shopping days with ease. Our green pleated skirt has an elastic waist for comfort and the metallic fabric is giving us all the festive feels!

Animal Print is also one of the seasons biggest trends and our Pil printed skirt, with its monochromatic colour palette will make a strong impact and translate well from day to night as well as work well between seasons. Wear the Pil skirt with box fresh Sneakers and a white tee or black heels and a black cami for a night on the tiles. Add a leather biker jacket and an oversized scarf to complete either look!

Polka-Dots are overtly feminine and always give us that girly angelic feel. A polka dot midi skirt does all of that while nailing the trend impeccably! An oversized knit gives the skirt a more relaxed vibe and worn with your favourite block heeled boot, will be comfy, chic and a definite head turner! This look is the epitome of Street Style!

Neutrals are always a good idea, this Ethan camel pleated skirt has been one of our best sellers this season so far! It looks equally as fabulous with a white shirt, a black poloneck, a sequinned top or a chunky knit. Our top tip when styling the Ethan skirt is to choose a dainty shoe because of its longer length, to keep the overall look feminine!

Last, but by no means least, the red leopard printed pleated skirt! It completely speaks for itself – seriously chic with all the Parisian vibes! It just arrived instore last week but sold out over the weekend, hopefully it will be back instock soon!

Velvet Love !

Just in-case you aren’t aware, velvet is majorly trending this season – from bags, trousers, shoes to our favourite the blazer! We personally are loving the trend, Velvet is such a fun yet sophisticated material that adds a touch of elegance to your wardrobe. When this blazer arrived in-store this week, we instantly got excited about all the different ways we could style it.

 

In my opinion, there is nothing more chic than a nice blazer and well fitting jeans with heels. Loving the blazer here styled with a belt, a gorgeous effortless look that is so simple to recreate! This would be a fab outfit for a girly dinner date – dare I say it.. At Christmas?

 

 

 

 

Alexa Chung’s style defined in two words, cool and classic! She always wears her basics so well and her style is timeless. Love how she has simply draped her velvet blazer over her shoulders and she is good to go!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am so obsessed with absolutely everything about this look, it is perhaps a little more daring than the other ways to style the blazer but to pair this back, think light denier tights, over the knee books and a little black dress. Oh so fabulous!

It’s no secret that our go-to skinny jeans are no longer the only fashionable denim that we need in our wardrobe. The welcomed return of the old-school classic “Mom Jeans” is well and truly back and quite literally dominating the high street!

Over the past few years our leather look skinnies In-store have become the Go-To trousers in every lady’s Autumn wardrobe for 3 main reasons:

1. Comfort – They have that stretch effect that leather doesn’t give us, have a higher rise, they are super soft and so easy to wear all day/night long and in my personal opinion, they are more comfortable to wear than skinny jeans!
2. Versatility – Basically wear them anywhere, top and heels for a night out or a cosy knit and sneakers for a chic day time look either doing the school run or heading to town shopping!
3. Suitable for all ages – It doesn’t matter if your 18 or 80, you will love the leather look Skinnies and how the give you that stylish and chic feel. If your conscious of them being too exposed at the bum, just wear a long top, knit, cardigan, waistcoat or coat.The leather look skinnies are an amazing staple for your Autumn Winter wardrobe and can be styled with just about anything in your wardrobe!
